Colombia is one of the most beautiful countries in Latin America. In 2010 Colombia ranked second in New York Times Best Places To Go poll. It occupies a privileged site in the continent and, as a result, its regions gather great attractions: beaches, glaciers, rain forest scenes, plains and deserts.

To the Northwest, Colombia borders on Panamá; to the East, on Venezuela and Brazil; and to the South, on Peru and Ecuador. The climate is cold in the high snow-capped mountains and very warm level with the sea. The highest rainfall regime takes place in April but temperatures are quite unvarying year round.

This country is world-wide known for its coffee production, its vegetation and its cultural diversity. As a consequence of its varied wildlife, Colombia has significantly developed the ecological tourism industry in its national parks: Tayrona Natural National Park, Chicamocha Canyon, Cabo de la Vela, to name a few.

The main attractions include the historical neighborhood called La Candelaria, in Bogotá; the colonial cities full of color like Santa Fe de Antioquia, Popayan and Villa de Leyva. Of course the carnivals in Barranquilla, Cartagena and Medellín are other options very popular among visitors.
